Igor Carino of Italy has been involved in bonsai for 20 years. He creates award-winning bonsai ceramics using a combination of 3D printing technology and hand-finishing techniques. His work is inspired by Japanese craftsmanship and natural beauty. His pots are wood fired, adding a unique character and authenticity to each piece. Carino studied under Japanese master Gyouzan, learning traditional bonsai pot production in Tokoname. He recently became the first Italian to win the 1st Prize at the 17th International Pot Competition at the 47th Gafu-ten in Kyoto.
